It has been almost 2 months since I started the weight loss challenge. There has been a lot of discipline with my food choices and I have been training 3 times a week on high intensity exercises, but the scales were constantly telling me the same figures for several weeks.
However, I still felt I was losing weight. I definitely feel a lot more confident about my body. And then last week I lost another kilo. I am now at 54kg.
As a tip for all the brides out there, if you are looking to lose a few kilos for your wedding, picking up weight training is definitely the way to go. I think weight training has toned my body a lot (even though it isn't reflected on my scales).
I have tried on my wedding dress a few times, and I am fitting in loosely. So I am very happy. I am quite happy to maintain my current weight.

I have been on the Ultra Slim Challenge for 2 weeks now, and I must say
that the flavours of the Ultra Slim shakes are ultra tasty. For someone
that loves milk, I love having 2 milkshakes a day.
The first few days of the challenge were a bit hard on the stomach
though. Going from 3 solid-food meals a day to only 1 is a bit of a
churn on the stomach. I felt hungry pretty much throughout the whole
day. But as the days went on, my body got used to having less food in
the stomach, and I gradually stopped thinking about food so often.
This change in diet also meant that I have to have more fruit and vegetables, which is a good habit to pick up.
Over these 2 weeks, I have lost 1kg, which is not a lot, but I think is a good start.

For someone who has never put any faith into winning competitions, I am quite thrilled that I won the Ultra Slim Challenge, and very eager to start as my wedding is not too far away.
I currently weigh 56kg and hope to loose at least 5kg before the wedding. I have never really tried any slimming products before. My previous attempted methods of weight loss have always been discipline on the amount of food I eat every meal. But it has never worked for me.
Now, my wedding is in 3 months time, and that has given me more motivation than ever to loose a few more kilos so that I can look my best on my big day. 5kg doesn't sound like a lot to loose, so I am confident I can achieve my goal. |
