Attendants & other roles for friends Print E-mail

Q. The couple that introduced us are good friends but we don't wish to have them as attendants. Is there a role that they can perform in the wedding so that we can acknowledge them and avoid offending them?

A. Two roles that would be ideal for your friends are:

  • they could be chief ushers and be in charge of directing people to their seats and handing out the order of service.
  • they could each do a reading for you during your wedding ceremony;
