The Chinese Garden of Friendship in the centre of Sydney has undergone its first major renovation since the garden opened in 1988.
A Feng Shui architect was engaged to create the designs and oversee works which included widening the entrance to include wheelchair access, relocating the Teahouse and upgrading the bathrooms. The refurbishment, which cost $1.6 million, will enhance visitors' enjoyment of the gardens with better facilities and greater access for all.
The Chinese Garden of Friendship is at the corner of Pier & Harbour Streets, Darling Harbour.
