10 days to go!

OK - still no package from The Bridal Parlour. There is a back and forth ping pong of emails and basically they are blaming Australia post. Not sure whats happening from here but I have no place card holders, guest book, pen or toasting glasses. Cried for the first time this morning....stress is building up a little!!

Our bridemaid dresses are from Sydney and my family is in Nowra, 1 of the bridesmaids needs to try her dress on to make sure it fits as shes just had a baby. She's worried she can't fit into it. I can't drive down to Nowra and a courier is going to cost just under $400 which is more than the dress!!! Ahhhh stressful!!!

I had my hens night on the weekend. Photos are http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=176621&l=2f511&id=828995248 We went to Aesop's Greek Restaurant in Macquarie St. Lots of drinking and smashing plates. It was so much fun. The food was pretty ordinary but the dancing and fun outweighed it!! My bridesmaids organised a stripper. I was very embarrassed but it was lots of fun!! My gosh he was hot- he dressed up as a fireman and had buns of steel :) Hehe

Well I had a stressful week last week in regards to my wedding dress. I was supposed to go to the shop on thursday to try on the dress. The lady in the shop rings me and tells me that they need to change it to Friday. I'm thinking "Hmm ok" but agree. Then the same happens to change it to Monday. I ring and get another new girl at the shop and she tells me that my designer sent the dress up from Melbourne and TNT Couriers have "misplaced" the dress and they aren't sure where it in. I think I am hyperventilating at this point!! Thinking what the hell? How do u loose a wedding dress?? Anyway after telling the shop assistant I dont want to speak to her anymore as they had no idea what they were doing and couldn't tell me straight what was going on, I asked the designer to talk to me. The designer rings me who is a French guy with a very heavy accent. He told me it would all be ok and if need be they can have another dress made in 2 days considering the fine detail and hand sewing that's involved I find it hard to believe but take his word for it. He advises he will be in touch. Then on Sat the girl from the dress shop rings me and asks if I can go in...I advise it's my hens night and no, I can't go in. So I am going in today!!! It's the first time I am trying on my dress. I am quite nervous!!

Going to meet with the florist today. Wedding Blooms in Hunters Hill. The daughter Sara who I am dealing with is lovely! Shes very funny and calming so I am looking forward to seeing her!

I have the videograpghers meeting tonight! Time to discuss all the finer details!!

Music Selections have been made. I will keep those to myself until after the day! Just incase people i know are reading this. I want something to be a surprise!!!!

OK - So my previous post spoke so highly over theweddingparlour.com.au - DO NOT USE THEM! I placed an order with them on the 8th of October. An order of things over $500 so they had to advise the postage and handling.

I waited to hear from them and nothing.

On the 17th I get an email saying I hadn't replied to their email- which I never got but the email was up on their site once I logged in. How was I to know they put the messages up on their site and not to my inbox. Their site advises that all communication is done via email. So I waited by my inbox and nothing. There is no phone numbers to call on their site just emails. I was advised to pay $35 postage which is steep but I wanted the items to hurry up and all they gave me was an email and told me to pay $35 via paypal.
