I am a fully trained and authorised, Sydney-based, civil celebrant – and what a wonderful profession this is! I am dedicated to offering the highest standard of service, with meticulous attention to presentation and detail, and efficient and timely administration and lodgement of all legal documentation. That’s the serious bit. Just as important, I hope to establish a warm, friendly and good-humoured rapport with my clients.
The beauty of using a civil celebrant is that you are free to choose where and when you get married, and to choreograph your ceremony as you wish, to create a joyful and unforgettable wedding day. I will guide you through the preparations for your ceremony with a minimum of fuss and stress. With a patient and adaptable approach, I will help you craft a unique ceremony, traditional or modern, relaxed or sophisticated – it may be short and simple, intimate or a grand occasion, no frills or a flight of romantic fancy.
I will work with you respectfully if you wish to include symbols or rituals from different cultural backgrounds. I offer expert guidance and a wealth of resources if you choose to write your own vows, or will happily compose a ceremony for you. I suggest that we conduct a rehearsal a week or so before the big day, the best way of ensuring that everything goes smoothly, and of calming any wedding day jitters. I am always happy to be contacted by phone or email should you need to discuss anything at all.
Ultimately, what is important is that your ceremony for this most special day has real meaning and significance for you both, that it comes from your heart, and creates magical memories which will last a lifetime.
I will give you my Ceremony Information folder, packed with ideas and inspirations, when you confirm your booking. And to help make things easier on the day, I offer the use of folding chairs and table with cloth for signing your certificates, a state of the art PA system with CD player, and am happy to help with locating candles, coloured sand or other items or accessories needed as ceremonial symbols. I also bring my emergency bag of tricks on the day to cope with any unforeseen little hiccups.
Do give me a call or drop me a line – I would be delighted to meet you (day or evening, 7 days a week) for an obligation-free chat to discuss your plans.
Warm regards,
Helen Wyld BA CMC... celebrating the wedding of your dreams
PS: When you contact me, ask me if our magnificent classic red sports car is available on your chosen date to drive you to your ceremony – it’s absolutely gorgeous and it’s free of charge! Fully insured and a member of AAMCA and AFCC.
